The Song of Moses
"Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth." Song of Moses, first verse (Deu 32:1)
A scriptural type is described in the Catholic dictionary as "A biblical person, thing, action, or event that foreshadows new truths, new actions, or new events." In this vein, the life of Moses is often seen as a type of Christ. Some of the parallels can be seen here, and the connection was made by Moses himself, when he said:
"The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;" Deu 18:15
This verse was referred to in the Book of John and the Acts of the Apostles:
"Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." John 1:45
"This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear." Acts 7:37
These three are verse numbers 5400, 26090 and 27154 in the Bible (KJV). Their connection is confirmed by the evidence of numerical anagrams:
- 26090 - 5400 = 20690
- 27154 - 5400 = 21754
Surely the connection between Moses and Jesus began with the year of Moses' birth; 2368 on the Hebrew calendar, which corresponds with the numerical value of Ιησους Χριστος ("Jesus Christ"). It was to be 80 years later, in 2448, that Moses ascended Mt Sinai to accept the covenant from God on behalf of the Jewish people.
The sun and the earth are also witness to the Mosaic prophecy. Consider the average surface temperature of the sun (5778° K) and of the earth (288° K).
Using the fraction from the above equation and the key dates from the life of Moses produces startling results:
153 is recognizable as the number of fish in the miraculous catch instigated by the resurrected Jesus in the Gospel of John. The number 148 is also significant in gematria, particularly relevant to this narrative. The Hebrew word for Passover is פסח (Pesach), which has a gematria value of 148, particularly poignant as it was on that feast day that Jesus was crucified. By a factor of ten, this number also relates to the numerical value of Χριστος ("Christ") which is 1480. |
The equation dividing the sun and the earth's temperatures can also be expressed as a fraction:
- 5788 / 288 = 20 + 18/288
The number 18 has a deep connection with 5778, as there are 18 pieces in the 5778 triangle jigsaw, and 5778 is the golden ratio raised to the 18ᵗʰ power. These numbers, along with the power of ten, are used to pinpoint the testimony of Jesus Christ by his fore-runner, John the Baptist.
"John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me." John 1:15
ιωαννης μαρτυρει περι αυτου και κεκραγε λεγων ουτος ην ον ειπον ο οπισω μου ερχομενος εμπροσθεν μου γεγονεν οτι πρωτος μου ην

John said that Jesus "cometh after me" but was also "before me". The numerical value of Ιωαννης βαπτιστης ("John the Baptist") is 2220. The first occurrence of 2220 in pi is followed by the three digits 888.
- 148 x 153 = 22644
- 2 + 2 + 6 + 4 + 4 = 18
- the sum of the divisors of 22644 = 62244 (another numerical anagram)
- 226440/ 18 = 12580

- the numerical value of Ιησους ("Jesus") is 888
So Jesus (888) is after John the Baptist (2220), but also "before"? This first occurrence of 2220 in pi is preceded by the three digits 367, which is repeated for extra emphasis.
In the Gospel of John, the Jews asked Jesus "who art thou?"
"Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning" John 8:25
ελεγον ουν αυτωι συ τις ει και ειπεν αυτοις ο ιησους την αρχην ο τι και λαλω υμιν
- 367 is the 73rd prime number
- Genesis 1:1 ("In the beginning....") has a gematria value of 2701, the 73rd triangle number

ελεγον ουν αυτωι συ τις ει και ειπεν αυτοις ο ιησους την αρχην ο τι και λαλω υμιν
This verse has 18 Greek words consisting of 64 letters.
- 2701 (Gen 1:1) = 73 x 37
- the numerical value of Ιησους Χριστος ("Jesus Christ") = 64 x 37
- 73 + 64 = 137, the 33rd prime number
The fine tuning that makes our blue planet habitable is a constant source of wonder. The temperature, for example, is ameliorated by the earth's atmosphere. Scientists have calculated that, in the absence of an atmosphere (and no change to the earth's albedo) the average temperature would be 33 degrees cooler at 255° K (-18° C or -1° F). At that temperature, it would be Snowball Earth and no life would be possible.
The Hebrew word for covenant Brit (ברית) has a gematria value of 612. The 22644th word in the King James Bible is found in the verse outlining the covenant between Jacob and his father in law Laban: "Now therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee." Gen 31:44 |
The Abrahamic covenant (Brit bein HaBetarim) was struck in the year 2018 on the Hebrew calendar. 2018 on the Gregorian calendar coincides with 5778 on the Hebrew calendar. The Mosaic covenant came into effect when Moses received the tablets on Mt Sinai in the year 2448 on the Hebrew calendar.
The first day of Sukkot (Tishri 15) in the Hebrew year 5778 corresponds with October 5, 2017 on the Gregorian calendar. Remarkably, 22644 days prior to that date was the last day of Sukkot (21 Tishri) in the year 5716 (1955); a gap of 62 years. The last, or seventh day of Sukkot is called “Hoshana Rabbah” and is considered the final day of the divine “judgment” in which the fate of the new year is determined. It is the day when the verdict that was issued on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is finalized. On this day, prayers are concluded with "Kol mevasser, mevasser ve-omer" imploring the Herald (Elijah) to announce the speedy return of the Messiah.
The gap of 62 years (or 22644 days) between these dates is especially significant, considering it's numerical properties. 62 is a semiprime number, as also is it's reverse 26 (which is the gematria value of the Tetragrammaton).

The number 62 is the tenth member of the 7-aliquot tree (62, 34, 20, 22, 14,10,8,7,1,0). The connection to the ten Sefirot of the Kabbalah (also called the Tree of Life) cannot be avoided, particularly considering the seven vertical lines (Bet, Gimel, Dalet, Kaf, Peh, Resh, and Tav). In Kabbalah, these seven lines (called 'Doubles') represent the seven times "God saw" in the first chapter of Genesis.
The 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet are all represented as the paths which connect the ten Sefirot. Numbers 26 and 62 are the 10th and 22nd semiprimes respectively. |
The Sefer Yetzirah begins with the phrase, “With 32 mystical paths of wisdom...” Why the number 32? An answer is given in the next verse that states, “Ten sefirot of nothingness and 22 foundation letters.”
Finally, the calculation dividing the sun's temperature by that on the earth can be further reduced as follows:
"Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?" Job 37:18
תרקיע עמו לשחקים חזקים כראי מוצק
236 231 165 488 116 780 = 2016
Naturally, the connection between Jesus Christ, the prophecy of Moses and the temperatures of the sun and the earth takes on increasing importance as the year 5778 on the Hebrew calendar (2017-2018) rapidly approaches. Things could soon be heating up. And I don't just mean global warming. Global warning!
